My RV is Serenity: a 33 foot Class A Seabreeze motorhome.

HippyGeek: a Gen Xer gal with pets and a laptop.

Boondocking along AZ 260 between Camp Verde and Cottonwood: go to Thousand Trails Road and head right for about a quarter of a mile. Along the left there is a good graded dirt road. You will probably see lots of RVs a little bit ahead. RVers and tenter campers may stay here for free for 14 days. No services.

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager/weary feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Cat Hides in RV

My cat is hiding in the RV. I thought I’d found all the places where he hides…but now he’s lost again. Somewhere in the bowels of my rig.

Do you RV with cats? Where do they hide?

Serenity parked for now in Verde Valley

Serenity is parked in the driveway of my new place in the Verde Valley of Arizona. It’s been colder than expected - not sure if I should be winterizing my RV water lines or now. How cold does it have to be to make the process worthwhile?
